You can find Mike - the man with the steel vocal cords - onstage with some of the finest musicians around and pure magic happens between the material they will play and the songs that they sing with great audience rapport. They will take requests on the fly, tell you a story and treat you to a polished performance of anything they cover while you sit back and enjoy an adult beverage!

Their repertoire includes hundreds of songs from the ’60s, ’70s, and ’80s right up to today’s pop! 

We can’t say enough about these seasoned professionals. They are perfect for just about any occasion, including clubs, concerts, Wedding Receptions, pool party’s, barbecues, happy hours, conventions, or any function where you wish for your guests to enjoy good music, dance and a fun time!

Mike Veal Band – EXPLOSIVE, ENERGETIC, they keep the crowd engaged from the time they walk through the door until the time they quit playing their music.  This band is a MUST for any event that involves a party and the need for great music.  I’ve had them twice at our club and they have not disappointed our membership.  I’ll continue to use this group of professional musicians and engaging personalities.  More dates back here are definitely in their future!

Rialto Mardi Gras – Joliet, IL (February 15, 2003)

Just a note to tell you guys how much our party enjoyed your performance at the Feb. 15th Mardi Gras at the Rialto Theatre in Joliet, IL (quite an impressive venue, isn’t it?). Having grown up in the Midwest, I’m intimately familiar with the “Chicago Sound.” …BUT… having been schooled in the South (that’s right – LSU in the early ’70s!) I know there’s something to be said for “Southern Soul” in music. You guys are the “real deal” – the perfect combination! Mike, if I could belt a tune like you I’d quit my day job!!

Thanks for making our evening a truly memorable one! Hope to have the opportunity to hear from you guys again!

The Mike Veal band was an integral part of making our wedding reception a huge hit! Each member of the band offers up incredibly distinct talent making for an incredible group. Beyond their musical capabilities, they are each friendly, professional, and accommodating to a bride’s last minute changes. The atmosphere they created for our reception is one we will never forget. Mike and his guys know how to keep the party rocking! We couldn’t thank them enough for their amazing performance. We have probably had at least 10 phone calls since returning from our honeymoon asking, “Where did you find that band? and Where can we see them?” We can honestly say that of all the things chosen for our wedding, the Mike Veal Band was the best choice made. Thanks for the memories!!
