Solo Track Vocalist – Paula

Meet The Vocalist

Paula Jones, The Versatile Vocalist , knows what it means to be a professional. When it comes to music, Paula has an affinity for all styles and genres of music–especially the music of yesterday. She strives to keep it alive with her accurate renditions of your old favorites.
Paula was the lead singer in ‘The Powerplay Band’ from 1997 to 2016. Powerplay traveled the southeast entertaining at wedding receptions, corporate events, and special occasions. They also had a huge club following and generated enthusiasm wherever they performed. One of Paula’s strongest attributes as a singer with the band was her ability to mimic the artists whose songs she sang, and continues to sing, and for her natural connection to her audience.

Before joining ‘Powerplay’, Paula entertained children and recorded and wrote all the songs on a family cd entitled “Sunnytime Soup”.  Jones and her songwriting partner, who call themselves ‘The Dewberries’, have recorded and produced four cds. They spend several hours weekly in their studio, working on new, original material.

Since 2010, Paula has entertained at over 1,000 functions all around the Atlanta area for assisted-living and retirement facilities/communities, private parties, and church group events. She’s acquired an impressive list of repeat clients who look forward to her frequent visits. She never does the same set of music twice, and always delivers a wide variety of songs from the 20’s through the 60’s. She’s very personable and engaging, and sings because she gets as much reward from her audience as they get from her. This is much more than
just a “job” to Paula – it’s a ministry too.

Invite The Versatile Vocalist to entertain at your next event or social gathering.

She’ll adapt her selection of songs to what you ask her to sing.
We promise… you won’t be disappointed!
