It was a Bluegrass-themed banquet event hosted by the Y.M.C.A. of Metro Atlanta. This year's honorees received worthy praise and awards in appreciation for their achievements from the grateful organization.
Blue Sky Atlanta Music & Entertainment provided the musical skills of Bluegrass favorite, Cedar Hill who performed some of the best Bluegrass you have ever heard for 950-plus people who attended the Cobb Galleria Center in Atlanta, Ga. Monday night.
Cedar Hill's 4-piece band consisted of Mandolin/Fiddle, Banjo, Bassist and a Guitarist. All the fellows sang terrific harmonies of everyone's Bluegrass favorites from the time the doors opened until it was time to go home.
One of the highlights of the evening was a keynote speech from none other than Mr. Charley Yates, Chairman of the Board of Y.M.C.A. of Metro Atlanta. Mr. Yates has been known to pick up the banjo himself!
The Cobb Galleria Center's food, service and staff are always a joy to watch as they work so well together timing even course perfectly. The fun continued all night as Blue Sky Atlanta Music & Entertainment partnering with Reagan Smith Events, made for yet another great night of fun, food and entertainment.
